Even Darthtopus.
The best gifts for the Darth Vader aficionado in your life this holiday season are a lot different than the merchandise that played such a big role in turning a late 1970’s sci-fi movie into the cultural phenomenon known as Star Wars. While most of these things could be classified as “toys” in the larger sense, since they are playful and fun, they’re not toys for kids or collecting adults. They also all have a sense of irony and play on the universally recognized evil lord and his famous lines, prices range from $4 to $900.

This Darth Vader USB drive keychain made from LEGO on Etsy is super cute and gets points for being unique and hand made. Of course, using Darth to store your files isn’t new, Mimoco has had Darth Vader USB drives up to 64GB for a while and has other characters available too.

Random Monster by Mel Garcia - Vote for it now!

We’re day(s) away from the very first ever Card Caption Challenge and preparation time is coming to an end, but today we offer this video and ask you to get ready by considering the life of a card: the feelings put into each message by the writer, the thought and care used by each buyer to find the perfect card, and how much those words mean to the recipient. Of course, if the message is taken from some out-of-date poetry no one understands anymore, or if the card is too expensive and the buyer is running short on time then, well, these things may not apply. Just hopefully the recipient doesn’t feel pressured to like the card just because someone gave it to them.

I’m sure you’re all busy laboring over preparations for our first ever Card Caption Challenge, which will take place this week! So, here are a few captions about Labor Day from the quick wits over at someecards to tuneup your nimble mind and get it ready to win awesome prizes and achieve glory, lots of glory.
