This week, we’re looking way, way back, even as far back as 2007 (wow!), the year tumblr got its start. I know, I know for many of us it is hard to imagine yesterday let alone four years ago. And who would want to? Obviously, anything old is not cool, and everything we see today is the coolest-thing-ever (even if it is something that is old but we’ve never seen it before) So, hopefully you’ve all forgotten, or have never seen any of these fantastic tumblrs!
Things don’t always go as planned. Sometimes during the life of a design or branding concept things gets overlooked or taken out of context, or sometimes the execution isn’t exactly flawless. It’s not until it goes to print, hits the shelf or lands in the hands of the client that it becomes painfully obvious that this is not what we meant it to be. Of course these “fails” are not a complete disaster, embarrassment, yes, but at least it can bring a laugh to many, even if it is at our expense.
